Charity Bartending Event Raises Much-Needed Funds for Lupus Research

Members of the LRI Chicago Young Leadership Council (YLC) hosted a “Charity Bartending” Event at the Nisei Lounge in Chicago. All tips during their two hours of bartending were donated to LRI, along with the proceeds from their raffle prize.

All told, LRI benefited with close to $1,000 for lupus research! Congratulations, YLC! A special thanks to Nisei Lounge on Sheffield Avenue for hosting the event and for their invitation to come back again. Thanks also to Jim Beam for donation of the raffle prize.
